Graham Portlock
Studied photography at the London College of Printing & Graphic Art. After his first employment as a staff Photographer at the V&A Museum, he then moved on to run the Stills Unit at the Centre for Educational Television Overseas, and later initiated the first in-house photographic studio in Educational Publishing.
Finally set up on his own as an editorial, advertising, and architectural photographer. He has been commissioned
by many national institutions and agencies, and his work has appeared in leading publications and books.
Has taught at Norwich and Harlow Schools of Art and was Photographic Consultant to the Open University.
He is an awarding-winning Associate of both the British Institute of Professional Photography and of the Royal Photographic Society.
Has exhibited in both France and Germany, and widely in the UK. He has had works selected for the Royal West of England Academy 1st Photographic Open, and for the Royal Photographic Society’s prestigious ‘Portfolio Two’ publication and for the British Institute of Professional Photography’s National Awards Exhibition.
He currently, undertakes occasional art or architectural commissions whilst pursuing his own creative photography in the UK, France & Italy
